Stitch translation guide

We’ve noticed that Australian and New Zealand patterns tend to follow UK terms so we’ve translated from US to UK below. Any questions, give us a shout!

CH – chain – same in UK and US terms

SS – slip stitch – same in UK and US terms

DC – UK double crochet, US single crochet (sc)

TR – UK treble crochet, US double crochet

DTR – UK double treble crochet, US treble crochet

YRH – UK yarn round hook, US yarn over (yo)

You can also find Spanish, Italian, French, German and Polish translations here from Crochet Memories.
