This gorgeous beast is an idea from a sillymoo. That’s what she calls herself. I’m not being mean :P. This is so cheery and happy, but I’m tempted to make goth themed one in black. You could make them pretty much any size you want and in any theme.

You can make this pretty bookmark quite quickly with this pattern. It’s in US terms so wherever it asks for a SC, crochet a UK DC. Wherever it asks for a DC, crochet a UK TR. The pattern refers to another, in case you need help making the flowers. You can also use this flower pattern for any project you like, of course, as well as change up the colours or even the yarn type.
Visit lacycrochet for more info and more free patterns (in US terms so remember to translate!).
Today’s pattern is a clever one. Marie at marie’smaking designed a lovely pattern to make a butterfly that begins its life as a flower. She has posted lots of clear photos to help us and little tips along the way. We’ve personally tried this pattern out today and it’s easy to follow, and produces beautiful little butterflies! We’re attaching ours to a pink beanie!
Cute little flowers!
This Aussie lady has added US terms to the pattern too.
